Throwing clay on a wheel to make a pot means that no two Pots ever come out the same. It also means that each Pot has its own unique beauty mark. Some have cracks, some have indentations, and some have chips. To me, this is the most beautiful thing to see, therefore, we paint our pots most simplistically. Not to cover up these beauty marks but to highlight them. There is exceptional beauty in imperfection. To turn them into individual pieces of art.
